These objects showed up in the photo I took but were NOT there when I took the picture! I was at Lake Gaston with a friend, watching a beautiful sunset from a dock. I took a picture of the sunset and am sure there was nothing in the picture but sunset. It was totally silent except for the birds and the sound of water lapping the dock and shore, so there was no sound of planes anywhere nearby. These objects showed up in the picture only which is why I cannot answer a lot of your questions above. They seem to be diving out of the clouds and both have a dark contrail. Even though they have the shape of airplanes their trajectory is strange. When I saw the picture I was stunned. I showed it to several friends and I think they thought they were planes because of their shape, but again, there was nothing in the sky when I took this picture. The person with me didn't see anything but the sunset either. I would love to know what you think.
