SIGHTING: MONTREAL, QUEBEC (CANADA)

Witness Testimony

"I was observing the night sky with my telescope looking at galaxies on my front lawn, when I saw a formation of about 6 lights flying in a streight line.Being not too far from a Canadian forces Air Force Base ( CFB Bagotville ) there are sometimes formations of CF-18's that fly by.However, I did not see their Tail Strobes, Running lights or Anti-Collision Beacons. they emanated a glow, and I paid no extra attention to them thinking they were just Fighters, until they stopped in mid air. they then disperesed and took off in several different directions at high speed ( +500kts ) and faded off into the distance.This took place in the suberbs of Montreal, about 4 miles west the threshold of RWY 28/10 at Montreal Trudeau Int Airport CYUL.I am myself a pilot, and have never seen any sort of aircraft capable of the maneuvers or acceleration I saw."
