My wife and I were standing on the front porch talking around 12:30am this morning July 4th, 2014. When an airplane flying SE to NW was passing over the top of house and I seen two(2) star-like but very dim objects flying on the right side of the plane and one(1) one the left a little higher or further in front of the airplane. As if they were following or maybe escorting the airplane, I turned to my wife pointed up at the airplane and told her to look at the lights following the airplane, she also acknowledged these very dim lit "escorts". We watched it as it passed directly over us bearing NW when one of two on the left, which the two on the right before passing over us is now on the left, made an abrupt u-turn like change of direction and headed SE directly over us again. We stood there in awe, talked about it for a minute or two, then she walked to our vehicle to get her phone charger. While she was standing in the door of the truck I looked up towards the last direction I seen the airplane, NW, and seen 7 dim lit objects flying, in a perfect hexagon formation and one flying in the middle, fly directly over me the same altitude it seemed, but moving faster. I yelled for my wife to come and look, as she was climbing the steps I looked away from the 7 objects to my wife and I turn back pointed SE over the top of the house and she also seen them until they faded out.
