We were on our deck, out to view the super moon. As my husband and I walked back around our wrap around deck, I saw an extremely bright light coming from the east. We sit on our deck frequently and view the night sky. Lived in the same house 35 years. We live west of Austin, Texas and are in the flight plan for planes flying east to west out of Austin. The light was moving fast toward us. I commented to my husband, "If that is a helicopter, it is moving faster than I have ever seen." The light was moving low and suddenly we could see a second light behind, just as bright. The structure came across in front of us and we both could see a long cylinder, silver shaped with bright, white lights on both ends. There were no windows. My husband said, "That is close to us and there is no sound". He had on binos and he lifted them up to look closer. The structure suddenly turned up at an angle, north west at this time, and just disappeared. The structure was as long as Boeing jet, but with a long cylinder body. We have seen in past years, the space shuttle, the ISS cross the sky in our area and viewed many comets. This structure moved faster than anything we have ever seen. This was shocking and a little unsettling.
