My wife and 10 year old son were sitting around a fire pit, 30 feet from the lake, at about 10 at night. We were on the west shore, just south of the bridge, in the Hadley Bay area. I noted a small orange/red light to the north east. It was just over the distant tree line and seemed to be stationary - I could not tell how far away it was. I asked the others if they thought it was a star, planet or plane, and they thought plane, as 'stars don't twinkle like that'. It didn't seem to be moving, so I figured it was a plane or helicopter coming towards us, but after several minutes it was still in the same place - it might have moved a bit to the west. After 5 minutes or so a second, identical light rose up from behind the trees and hovered next to the first one - or at least it seemed to - it might have been farther or closer away. After another 5 minutes I saw a third light approaching from the west - the first two quickly faded out, and when I then looked for the new, third light, it too was gone.
