I stepped out onto my porch at appoximately 10:30 pm to look at the night sky, facing Cerro Gordo hill, when I saw a very bright white light, appearing to be round, descend at about a 45 degree angle from roughly North to North East.The object behaved in what I call a "wobbly" manner as it descended. It slowly descended in a sort of up and down, undulating motion, and not in a straight, precision line. I watched it for a few seconds until the light abruptly (instantly) went out or disappeared.My first thought was UFO! Just prior to the sightingI had a very intense personal expierence. I did not feel any fear or anxiety, in fact I felt peaceful and lucky to have had the very brief experience. I spent ten years watching the skies in Northern New Mexico, star gazing, looking at planets and constellations and falling stars but this felt different, almost exhilerating.
