My girlfriend and I were traveling home from lower MI. It was around 10:45 EST. Just outside of Bergland, MI traveling west towards Wakefield, my girlfriend said "What the hell is that in the sky?". I pulled the van over to side of road and got out. What I saw was a triangular, glowing object in the sky travelling south across the sky. It was far brighter than any stars and much larger than any stars. I watched it till it disappeared into the treeline on other side of road. It made no noise, and there were no colored, blinking lights like you see on an airplane. The object appeared to be much larger than any airplane would be at that same altitude. It was very bright and glowing. And the outline of a rigid triangle was clearly visible. It was a clear night. Not a cloud in the sky at time of observation. It was by far the brightest object in the sky. It was also traveling fast. Faster than any airplanes I have ever observed. I have been mentally affected by what I saw, I do not believe it was a plane or a sattlelight. It was the second anomally I have seen in 3 weeks. I also have a picture I can't explain from a sighting at Lake Superior just 2 weeks before this event. But this object from this event I'm reporting was coming from the direction of Lake Superior.
