My wife and I were enjoying a camp fire in campsite 4 at the Cusino Lake State Forest Campground. Approximately 8:30 (It was dusk) I saw an object quickly fly by heading east about 4 feet above the lake surface. It was quick and silent and caught my eye and appeared to be less than 30 yards away; I assumed I had seen an owl (there was no sound) or other bird. I said to my wife, "oh, something fast just flew by". She turned and looked just as the object flew in the same area but this time in the opposite direction(now heading west.) We could clearly see that the object was luminescent and appeared to be similar in shape and size to a foot ball. We both commented on the fact that the object was glowing; afterwards it changed direction again heading back to the east which was the heading I originally observed. The object disappeared heading east and was obscured by trees.
