It was so strange. I was leaving home for opening night of a musical I'm in at the local college. I noticed something very bright in the sky off to the west. I thought "wow, what a beautiful, bright star" at first, but it had a yellow glow. It was like a small sun in the night sky. It gradually dissipated. As I pulled out of my driveway I was facing south and there it was again, the same or a second light of the same color and intensity. I watched and then this time it didn't gradually disappear, it vanished in the blink of an eye. Both had an erratic pattern. Hovering on place from time to time then shifting at acute and right angles. I have seen things I couldn't explain before, but this was just so bizarre.
