I happened to look out my bedroom window which faces due south of Grand Forks, BC., and our small airport. I happened to look up due to movement above and saw a bright solid light (saucer)with two bands of color revolving around it's midsection. I've seen many satellites pass over in recent years and know one when I see one. This was not one of them or any airplane I've ever seen. It was not the airport landing lights that guide planes into the airport after dark. There are no blimps around this area, and few toy drones around.As I watched this disc, I noticed that there was no sound, no exhaust, no windows, doors or any other apparent enter point. It's flight path was (due south) smooth and steady till it appeared reach the southern boundry of town, made a sharp right turn and flew (S/W) at about 1-2 thousand miles per hour in a straight trajectery over our Mt. Golita, and out of sight. Though the sighting lasted a little over a minute I feel that what I saw was not something that came off any assembly line I've ever heard of. I think it came from somewhere off Earth.
