Me and my neighbor, Marvin jackson, since deceased, we're sitting in his front yard talking, which we often did. I noticed a large bright light about 20 degrees above the horizon.i brought it to Marvin's attention,and he said it was an airplane.i thought it could be an airplane also.the airport is to our south about 4 miles. As it got closer I noticed it wasn't going to land at the airport. The object flew directly overhead in between mine and Marvin's house it didn't make a sound and it was only 20 to 30 feet above the trees. The lights were on the bottom of the craft shining straight down and very bright. The lights and the surrounding trees kept me from seeing the object clear enough to make out the exact shape. The object was flying very slow maybe 25 to 30 mph. It continued on a northwest path till it was out of sight. I didn't have a camera nearby because I've never seen a ufo and never believed I would. I was sort of frightened by the sighting because for me it just confirmed that ufo's do exist. I don't know for sure what it was but I've seen reports on television of people seeing something similar.
