Was out on my back deck where I always see planes flying by. (There's a flight path to the nearest airport over my house) my wife noticed a solid orange/red light that was moving west to east slowly, it proceeded to move at a very fast rate, than abruptly slow down and head north dropping down towards the horizon in a strange motion (down while turning and back up and down again) it then disappeared and appeared on the eastern horizon to where I could no longer see it. Than a second object appeared to the west and moved in the same fashion. It was silent, roughly 1km away when I first noticed it. I see a lot of airplanes, helicopters and satellites over my house and this is like something I have never seen and could not explain. The only similar object I have seen to it is a Chinese lantern from a distance. But they normally move quite linear and are normally white/orange and do not last as long and go as far as these objects. This flashed red and orange and had a very erratic flight path.
