There was a light that resembled a star very close to the ground on the north side of the mountain where the hotel sits. It first came up at around 35 to 40 degrees heading towards the horizon we could see the light emitted by what appeared to be the rear of the object. My wife and I could clearly see a deep yellow glow from what appeared to be some kind of light coming from what appeared to be the rear of the object. It was very fluid in its motion as it rose towards the south west heading outward. Then the light did like a slingshot motion where it became larger and smaller and larger again then increased it's speed and continued in its outward trajectory. We then lost sight of it as it continued to go upward and into a path that took it into the night sky, slowly blending into the stars. There were no green and red lights like a plane. There was no jet engine or any other kind of engine noise.
