Cloudless blue sky at 7:40 a.m.
Large cylindrical light in the sky, as bright as the sun, stationary in a horizontal position. Object was facing the sun and I assumed its brightness attributed to the object reflecting the brightness of the rising sun.
Initially I dismissed it as an airplane, but with a longer glance I noticed that it was stationary with no contrail and no identifying features such as a triangular tail to identify it as an airplane. I was walking to my office and I passes a building that blocked my view of the object for about 15 seconds. When I got to the other side of the building, the object was gone.
