Two objects observed for around an hour at midnight. Both objects appeared to be at a considerable height (higher than normal aircraft but lower than satellites). Both appeared circular and were white, although on the first one I got an impression of small red dots. The first one I spotted was almost directly above, about 80 to 85 degrees above the horizon to the east. I was just looking at the sky (which was clear) and at first thought it may have been a satellite or a planet. It was 'twinkling' somewhat but was stationary. As I looked around at stars I was suddenly aware of movement from this object. On focusing back on the object it was again stationary but I was convinced I had seen it move and continued to watch it. After a few minutes it did indeed move, and at that point I realized that this was no satellite as the movement was almost like a dance - constantly changing direction, but the direction changes were abrupt, The speed also appeared to be extreme. Distances on the legs of the 'dance' were in the region of a few degrees and after a minute or two it returned to approximately the original position and became stationary again. I continued to watch and the performance was repeated several times at intermittent intervals but with varying patterns and durations. I then became aware of a second object performing in a similar manner that was to the south at about 10 degrees above the horizon. I watched the two of them for about an hour but then just had to get some sleep. Reading over this I feel i must point out that I was completely awake and completely sober! At one stage I woke my wife who also witnessed the first one move but quickly went back to bed, I should perhaps point out that she is Thai and I find that in general Thais have little interest in anything that does not directly involve them or their family! It is currently half past ten at night on Saturday and having looked around for half an hour there is nothing unusual visible in the sky.
