Observed light directly overhead. brightest object in sky other than planets. appeared similar to space station when observed. object moved in relativelvtight circle pattern. gradually moved from 11:00 in west to 2:00 in east over 1/2 period. eventually moved to about 10:00 in north sky where it travelled back and forth east and west in tight circles. at times would deviate from circular pattern and make rapid linear moves and 90 and 180 degree direction changes. my son observed the last two hours with me. we sat with stationary object in front of face to verify it was in fact moving. we both confirmed seeing the continuous movement and direction changes. object did get fainter and appear farther away as night went on but it did not change position on horizon. tried to explain what we were seeing. looked brightness of satellite but changed direction. thought if ballon type object but rapid linear direction changes at times with circular pattern majority of time didn’t make sense. object had to be high altitude to remain reflective and if so, distance travelled during zig zags was significant. zig zags were also much faster than circular pattern. we finally stopped observing due to time of night.
