It was a crystal clear night, approximately 2 hours after sundown. when I witnessed at least 30-50 lights emerging out of the WSW, slightly higher than the path of nearby airplanes, perfectly spaced apart and following a precise path in the sky. I am not sure when the event began, but when I turned and looked up, the event was already in motion. The lights seemed to disappear above my head (similar to watching the International Space Station flies overhead and which seems to "disappear" when Earth's shadow prevents reflection from the sun. After staring at the event for for five minutes and trying my best to determine what I was seeing, I could not tell if it was one elongated object or multiple objects. I ran inside to grab my cellphone and tried to take a video of the event. But, my phone takes horrible pictures/videos and I basically recorded my excitement and a dark sky. I live in a rural area, butted up to Southern Ute tribal land, so I usually enjoy an awesome starry night. I asked the clerks of my local gas station if anyone else has mentioned the sighting, but they said no. I will continue to watch for the event every night, this time armed with my fully charged pad.
