On 12/25/19 in madison, alabama, while at work, i went outside to call my wife on my cell phone and at approx. 7:40pm, noticed 2 rectangular shaped lights( almost window like) (dark amber) flying at approx 500-1000 ft altitude. these lights were steadily ascending, with a 3rd amber light trailing the first two, approx 500 feet back and a 4th amber light followed as well, another 750+ feet or more behind, towards the end. these lights ascended steadily in unison formation, as if attached, heading in a northern vector direction and turned sharply towards a nw direction towards the city of athens. consequently, this location where i was, is close to an airport, as i often see commercial and sometimes military transports descending towards the airport. it is easy to hear the flights as they are close over the facility where i am employed. these lights in question, made no sound, and were traveling in opposite direction, of the way the planes land/descend typically. . interesting in the video, the 4th amber light falls back, almost to a crawl, and the initial 2 are seen trailing off., as seen in the video. i called the madison airport regarding any info regarding this event and was told "nothing was noted out of the ordinary." when i initially saw these lights, i actually told my wife,"i'll call you back".
