I was heading south from my home into sedalia driving on mm highway and noticed around 10 lights in the sky west of sedalia, missouri. i noticed these lights for approximately 10 minutes flashing on and off. they were not in any certain pattern just hovering fairly high in the sky. they slowly traveled together on an eastern flight path. i have seen airplanes and helicopters both at night, and i am aware how their lights look as they fly. these were not either one. the lights were flashing different colors as they blinked or flashed. my wife was in her vehicle behind me, and once we arrived at our destination i asked her if she seen what i saw. she said she was only watching the road hoping not to encounter any deer. after thinking about it i don't remember even watching the road because i was fixed on the lights.
