Object was big. i would guess 300 to 500 feet from corner to corner. triangle shape with gold colored light at each corner. i was driving south on newcastle road and noticed the lights in the sw sky. appeared to be 500 to 1000 feet in elevation. upon further observation the area triangle are inside the 3 lights was darker then the sky behind it. i was looking for a place to pull over as i was slowing down the object went in front of 1/4 crescent moon. was able to pull over at dollar general at the address listed above and exit the car just in time to view object disappear behind treetops headed north. two other vehicles pulled in behind me to view object disappear over trees. i immediately called my brother-in-law whose house i had just left and he and my nephew made it outside in time to see the object pass over their house and disappear behind the trees headed north. the object made no discernible sound that any of us could hear.
