Driving from mesquite, nevada back to home in nw las vegas on highway 13 about 4 miles outside of mesquite. 1st object appeared as bright round light of white slightly yellowish color. estimated to be 500-1500 feet above ground level. it was 'on' for a second then blinked off. second object with same color and further south and closer to freeway then lit up with same color and intensity of light. no structures seen on either object just omnidirectional with no beams of light. no navigation lights. appeared like a perfectly round circle of light. sky was dark with good visibility at time of sighting. then first object turned on again and after a second or two both went off at same time. neither seen further. no navigation lights seen. not flairs. consistent intensity when 'on'. aircraft landing lights are directional and stronger white color than these objects. i am former pilot and know my aircraft and am an active aviation enthusiast enrolled in faa flight safety program. after the 2 objects blinked out i immediately started my flightradar24 app on my iphone and it showed no aircraft in my area however military aircraft do no appear on app. pulled over 2 miles further at truck parking area exit and searched sky but could only see a few (4-5) small points of light in extreme distance maybe 10-20 miles distance to the west with standard flashing patterns. they did not appear on app so presumably they were military heading north from vegas toward possibly tonopah test range. they were in a line. many military flights use that path. our home is located near one of their paths and we see f-22s, f-35,s f-16.S several times per week. they were very fair away from us. wife in car and also saw the 2 objects.
