This occurred sometime in mid-july, 2017. i don't know exact date. this was my first experience witnessing ufos. they were not airplanes or helicopters, or any kind of jet craft. they were way too high up. i like to look up and enjoy the constellations; and these objects appeared to be stars, but were not. that night, i took my dog out into the front yard so she could do her business, sometime between 2:00-2:30am (she woke me up). it was a clear night. i looked up and was just taking in the beauty of the stars, while my dog was on the lawn. i fixed my gaze to the east, and as i was looking up, trying to make out the constellations, i began to notice that some of the "stars" i was looking at were actually moving at a fairly slow but steady speed, across the horizon, from east to west. to my eyes, they looked just like the other stars in the sky. if i had not been focusing on them, and really paying attention, i would never have noticed their movement, because it was so slow and steady. the objects emitted a bright star-like shine, and were either of different sizes, or at different altitudes extremely high up in the sky. i first counted three, then 7, then 12, then many more. there may have been as many as 25+. again, to the naked eye, they appeared to be stars (all intensely sold white and bright, but they were all moving. they were on a straight path heading east to west. i stood outside and watched for at least 10-15 minutes, maybe more. there was no sound. eventually, they passed across the sky and disappeared out of sight.
