At about 8:40pm on monday, march 30th, 2020, i saw what i thought was a satellite: a starlike object moving at a consistent pace. no blinking lights. it came over the northern horizon and was moving south. the path didn't cross directly over my head... it was perhaps 10 or 20 degrees to the west at its apex. then another identical object followed behind it. visually, they were separated by a few inches, perhaps 30ish degrees, following an identical path. another object came as they progressed toward the southern horizon. this kept happening for about ten minutes. there were probably about 5 or 6 objects visible at any given time, always following the same path, always roughly equidistant from each other. this lasted for about ten minutes. my guess is that they could have been high-altitude military planes headed for d.C., but i have never seen a plane that high in the night sky, and i have never observed that many following each other at once. truly, the altitude was such that they appeared to be a satellites.
