The white slow pulsating light appeared to be falling straight down at a very high altitude. the pulses were 1/2 second each. slow in speed. it pulsed 10-12 times and the disappeared. at first i thought it was a shooting star but it was too slow. it only moved about 2-3 degrees downward. it was not a pulsating or flashing light like on aircraft both landing or locating. we have an airport nearby and those lights would have been closer to the horizon or side to side moving. best i can describe is like a parachute flare in the way it fell but not the light and no smoke. this was different. the light was small almost like looking at a satellite but much much brighter and pulsating, not constant. most satellites around here are in an e-w direction and the space station is easy to recognize as well. their were no clouds in the area and no airplanes in the area at the time. i used the star chart app to get an approximate location in the sky. it appeared to follow what would be the neck on the 'giraffe' star constellation.
