Traveling East by car A458 towards Shrewsbury (Halfway House/ Wrattlesborough Heath) approx 1740 Sunday 29th December 2024 spotted a Pulsing bright light in the distance. Road was busy with Christmas Holiday traffic so was trying to concentrate on the road ahead, but kept glancing at this bright light. Thought maybe a helicopter or an antenna mass initially. As I got closer could see this was neither what I had previously thought. Traffic que appeared to slow as I think other drivers had also noticed. As I was parallel with object (approx 100 mt above farm land) I wound down the window to see if there was sound from craft and get a clear view. Orb was red in colour, hovering in one position, silent and pulsing subtle yellow light. Have seen similar on videos recently posted online. Not safe or convenient to film the encounter as I was driving. Return journey West on the same road 40 mins later; I saw a similar light traveling North East direction at further distance. Can’t be sure it was the same object, and could not afford to observe for long due to traffic. First encounter I was able to see clear due to slow moving traffic convoy. Shropshire has military facilities including RAF. May be linked, but this was unlike anything I had seen. The object was similar to many that have been recently reported all over the world. I have looked to see if another another vehicle passenger on the busy road had posted anything about this online, but I have not been able to find anything yet. Interesting to see if anyone else reports on this sighting, as the slowing down of traffic near the object signalled to me that others had spotted this very unusual phenomenon.
