Stuart Florida, 8:55 pm, I was out at the back of my house and happened to look up and spotted a red ball moving from south to north. Thought at first that it could be a plane on fire, however, it kept a straight line, no tail or blinking lights, quiet high and absolutely no sound. Watched for about a minute and a half and it disappeared north behind some trees. Contemplated it for a while and start to walk back inside when another red ball appeared at the same height and direction. Again no sound and no tail, I ran over to my neighbor and got him out to observe this second one. Again, no blinking lights like a airplane but a bright round ball moving pretty fast on the same path as the first sighting. I've witnessed meteors and shooting stars and this was neither of those. Both objects maintained a straight line north, the second one we observed until it went out of sight. I live on the flight path of commercial planes coming and going from W.Palm airport. These objects seen to be higher than regular air planes and traveling at a higher speed. I've witnessed launching of rockets out of Canaveral from my backyard which is 150 miles north of me. These lights emitted from theses two balls were as bright as the rockets tail but in these instances there was no tail. I would bet that because of the time, early evening and the unusualness of these two things that others in the area must have witnessed this, the sky was clear and the duration for me alone was like 4 minutes. Interested if there was any other reports. I called the local paper right after this happened but got a recording. I'm a retired law enforcement officer/ boat captain and have been observing the skies my whole like, this was the strangest thing I've ever seen.
