"An object that looked like a star until it moved.On the Oceancoming back from GermanyWent up topside to have a cigarette when two G.I.`s in front of me were discussing it. One said he reported it and was told not to say anything. They didn`t know I was standing behind them. I was looking at the star`s and one of them appeared to move , then stop dead. I watched this for a while and became convinced it was tracking the ship. It would stop and after a while it would move again. It moved so fast and stopped so fast, even then I knew there was not any aircraft that could do that. When I tried to discuss it with the 2 G.I.`s they wouldn`t say anything ."
