Large white light hovered and followed train for 15 minsI was travelling on the 1900 sleeping car train from Fort William (Scotland) to London Euston. After the stop at Arrochar I saw an amazingly bright light from the train window. I went to the window at the end of the car that opens and observed the huge light properly. It seemed to hover and follow the train for 10-15mins, I just watched it mesmerised. The sky was crystal clear, full of stars and one of the clearest I've experienced in recent years. I was traveling with another passsenger - I went to fetch him to confirm, but when he got to the window it was gone. If it was a helicopter I would have heard it - it was that close. Later in the journey South (near Garelochhead) the sky was full of helicopters. Seeing the way they moved and observing their lights was in total contrast to the amazing light I had just experienced. Over the next few days I had nightmares about the experience. These eventually subsided, although I still occassionally have strange dreams about this night. I do not feel comfortable thinking about this and the whole memory has an ominous feel to it.
