To start off let me just say I smoke cigarettes and I usually have smokes around the same time. I have been at this current house for 2 years. Okay so this event happened like Wednesday October 17 at around 11:30 when I went out back for my usually smoke( for 2 years now I have been out back around this time). I was about 3 puffs into my smoke when I heard a strange humming sound and to my surprise I look up to see a pretty massive triangle slowing hovering across the sky. At first I tried to convince myself it just airplane but as I watched it move and heard the sound I instantly could not find a rational explanation(which drives me insane..Everything has a rational explanation is my logic) It had 3 VERY bright lights( i suppose you could describe them as white) and a flashing red light in the middle. I froze because I have never in my life seen such a thing and the sound it made was just completely odd, never have I heard such a weird noise but the crazy thing about the sound was it was nearly SILENT. The sound is almost indescribable, it was sort of like a low humming. Anyway this triangular object slowly but so gracefuly moved across the sky in till it ended up flying over some trees which it then completely stopped moving and just hovered there. While this thing so smoothly and slowly crossed the sky I debated to take a picture or go inside and grab my video camera, but I didnt due to that fact I thought my phone camera wouldnt pick be able to get a decent pic and I was scared to get up and move or go grab my video camera and it be gone. So I didnt get any photo/video evidence, which i know regret. Anyway once this thing got to the trees, I would say it hovered over the trees from about 30 seconds or so before it appeared to descended. As soon has this triangle started to appear to descended its lights shut off leaving the sky almost dark and blank besides a few stars. At this point I am nearly shitting my pants, I was shaking and could not even finish my smoke. This triangular object really spooked me for some reason. I am use to planes and helicopters flying by/over my house, but this was not like anything i have EVER SEEN EVER!
