After dinner a number of people were having a drink at the hotel open air bar when a number of glowing lights (approx 8)appeared in the sky to the north.As they appeared to be over the sea and at quite a distance, the actual shape of the objects could not be ascertained. They formed various formations e.g. diamond, rectangle, and with various numbers in the formations..somtimes 4 and at one point all of them..the formations moved at great speed across the sky, abruptly stopping and changing direction. Eventually they blinked out one by one and that was it. A lot of people saw this and I don't know whether any photographs or video was taken. Everyone was talking excitedly about the origin of the lights,the term U.F.O. was of course mentioned,..I can only say that I have never seen anything like this...if there had been only one I might have thought it was a flare..but then it could not have put on the aerobatic display that I saw sincerely *(Wit's name deleted--SGonzalez/CMS).
