Witness Testimony

"okay me and about 10 or 11 of my friends where up around like 4 o'clock in the morning smoking a cigarette and saw an very odd thing in the sky. you could tell it was far off in the distance but yet close to our atmosphere, it was huge and moving. looked almost as if it was something blowing up in the sky.. but it wasn't it stayed in the sky for about an hour and all we did was watch it... i cant explain what it was but i can say this.. it was nothing me or any of my friend have ever seen before.. another way to describe it is a HUGE star a yellowish orange color.. it was tall long ways but short wide ways almost like a cross but it was like a fire in the sky.. and when i say huge i mean big.. and when a cloud passed over it it disappeared.. i don't know what it was or what it could have been but if you have any ideas please let me know. their was also no report done and i do have witnesses plenty of them so please help me figure this out thank you."
