I was out in my back yard with my pups for their last potty break of the night. I was observing the Big Dipper(which is to the North west of my home.) and other stars when I noticed a orange glow down the road from my home.(directly west) It then started to glow yellow also. It changed colors several times , that is really what got my attention. The orb seemed to move from side to side and up and down but never leaving the confined space between the trees.The light was at approximately 30 degrees and was between large Pine trees that grow on either side of the the road. The pups were anxious to get back inside and I wanted to check the time anyway 10:46. I Guess I had been observing the orbe for 3-4 minutes by this time. When I stepped back outside The object was gone. Although I did see one moment when a red glow appeaed behind/through the folage of the pine trees. and in the same spot where I had previously seen the orange orb I saw 1-2 tiny white specks of flashing light that only lasted for a brief moment, and were gone.I was dissapointed that the light was gone when I returned. It appeared to be some where in the direction of the old cemetary down the road from my home. There were dogs howling in the distance. They did not seem aggresive or on the hunt like hunting dogs sound . Just as if they were warning someone -something not to come into their yard. I could hear the night crickets and other critters. I did not feel alarmed just curious at what I was seeing. It did not appear to bee a helicopter or aircraft. The light was to large and to orange and yellow.
