On the date in question my wife and I were sitting on the sun terrace of our house in Bulgaria. It's a great place for Star gazing as there is very little light pollution. Suddenly I spotted what looked like a very bright star moving at what SEEMED to be at a pace slower than the many planes we see pass by..it was brighter than the north star, it was obviously a powered vehicle as opposed to say a weather balloon. My eyesight without glasses is poor, so I went downstairs got my glasses and returned to sun terrace. The object was now heading east and from what I could see with my aided vision, it was a roughly circular, possibly slightly egg shaped, glowing white object. No pulsating lights, no sound. It eventually vanished but all the time we viewed it it maintained a constant speed. My wife saw the object too, and we discussed what it could be. It was NOT a plane, balloon, helicopter or even a satellite. We often see satellites with our naked eye and they tend to appear smaller, fainter and travelling much faster. I've also seen 'shooting stars' from our sun terrace and this wasn't one of those. As a postscript to this incident probably entirely unrelated, we obviously were very excited by this unexplained sighting and kept our eyes on the sky. A few minutes after the object vanished from our view, we were looking in the general area where we had first seen it, {north} suddenly a fireball, almost like a firework shot across the sky at high speed, before seeming to disintegrate or break in two then vanishing. It was not a firework, there were no sounds or sparks, no sign of anything falling to the the ground. The event was over in less than two seconds and again was witnessed by both of us. The 1st object is unexplainable by me, I'm willing to concede that the 2nd object {fireball} may have been a comet/meteorite/bit of space debris, breaking up as it entered our atmosphere.
