Sitting on top of dock over water at Lake Martin. Photographing the sunset. Then continued to watch the sky in hopes of spotting meteorites or fireballs. Watched planes cross over in the evening sky. Real awareness of all nature around. Noticed planes had stopped for a while. Looked south and noticed a bright light and thought there is not a tower light that direction and saw a bright light. Thought it was a plane. Then as it moved north east thought it was a helicopter scanning with heat scensors. Then realized I heard no sounds. The light traveled directly over a mountain peak across the water, as I was sitting above the lake. The lights stopped over the peak of the mountain. Turned its lights towards me as it hovered over the peak. The lights changedbfrom yellow to red. Shown in my eyes for several minutes. Felt like I was having my eyes scanned. I could not look away nor wanted to. It then turned and retreated the direction it came from but faster and I saw three white lights as it left. Left faster than it came. Then went down behind mountain range. I just sat there without fear or explanation.
