I was woken by my husband whom had seen it first. The main event that he observed was the light appeared out of no where and seemed to maintain a continual path. They did act intelligently by avoiding collision with each other and even stopping in flight to wait for the spacing is the same. They would drop into the sky from unknown origin and would maintain a steady flow until they would seem to just fade out like they had ran out of energy. It appeared that had a good maneuverability and can maintain a very low distance while avoiding collision with anything.
