I was sitting on the roof with my cousin at my grandfather's home which is located in JK colony in Kanpur, India. We were some stuff around 1 a.m. and then i just turned my head and saw this object falling vertically some 1.5 kilometers away from us and some 500 feet above the ground and then suddenly it burned in flames as it was coming down. My cousin also saw it. Our view was blocked by a water tank not far away from us. It wasn't a meteor for sure. We were amazed to see it. We later checked on the newspaper and internet if there was any meteor/ UFO reporting in that area, but i couldn't find anything which was little shocking. I guess that thing fell in the river nearby over which there's a bridge constructed which is used when we go from Kanpur to Lucknow. Our initial thought was that it was some maybe broken satellite part or a UFO. Please check into this matter.
