I live on the top floor of my building and have a wide view, overlooking the Esquimalt/View Royal area. Last night at around 10:50 p.m., I noticed two objects flying above Esquimalt hill. For a time they seemed to be still, then one of them started flying in all different directions, completley effortlessly and very fast. It looked like it met no resistance to wind or any force, as it flew around. After noticing this one do its thing, the other one started moving very slowly downward and then back up again to remain still where it was before. They both looked a little like stars at first but it was easy to see that they were in our atmosphere, as to me it seemed the two were up no more then 15,000 ft, if that and you could tell how close they were in comparison to the actual stars that were seen above. The one object that was flying in different directions then proceed to fly south in a straight line and at a steady pace. It started flashing highly bright, red bursts before becoming a solid red glowing ball. I lost site of that one and continued to watch the other one. At this point it was still in the same spot, when it all the sudden started to quickly flash a bright white, then green, and red light almost entirely at the same time, it seemed to drop a small blueish white light, which fell to the ground Very fast. I decided it was bed time after watching object still just sitting in the sky. As I was in my room I decided to have one last look out the window. I opened my curtains and looked straight up into the sky. My eyes were looking up no more then five seconds when all of the sudden out of nowhere, I see this huge and extremely bright, double flash in the sky. It only happened for a second and there was no induction of anything after that. Curious if anyone else saw this last night?
