At first, I saw what I thought was an airplane or jet, that seemed to have come from the east. I saw one craft, with a rose colored light at the top, & blue, white, greenish lights below it in a line, which made it appear triangular from my vantage point. I feel as if there was more to the craft which I couldn't distinguish due to the fact there was a mist/high humidity/low hanging clouds: the lights of the craft caught the mist and made a glow in this mist. I've lived near small, regional airports since i was 8 yrs old, & have never seen anything with this shape. As I looked at it, I realized there was another, slightly above & off to the right of it. At first, they were just hovering in place, for about 20 seconds. Then, I saw another appear out of the east, but it "blinked" to a new location, remaining at about the same height as the others, but instantaneously appearing in a new location to the south/west of the first two. At this point, I went & got my friend to come take a look, hoping he could explain to me what I was seeing. He & I observed the three objects, & noted another had joined the third one, & was moving near it in the sky. We both then saw a super bright white "comet", which appeared out of the sky between the pairs of crafts, almost like a shooting star, but it had appeared out of nowhere, and its "tail" was much shorter, and was instantly gone. We then realized that there were now 5 crafts, all identical, & that they were moving from place to place super fast, as if in a blink or pulse. They all appeared in the south/west for a few minutes, with one of the original two remaining in the east a minute or two longer, then all appeared in one area in the south, then they were gone. No bright flash, no noise, no visual path. It had actually appeared for a minute or two as if they were playing with each other: I have no frame of reference for any physical object to be able to chase another by "blinking" & appearing next to it, or for a physical object to be able to change direction without slowing or curving in its flight path. I can't explain what we saw, it doesn't fit with anything else I've seen. I wish i had gone into the house and gotten a video camera.
