Looking northeast at the bay, an orange/yellow oval appeared moving east across the bay. it was a beautiful neon color, and i ran out to the backyard immediately to get a better look. it took about 20 seconds to find it again. looking north through a tree, i could see it at 45-60 degrees above the horizon coming straight down the shoreline (south) right towards me. then it was almost right overhead, but i was still looking at it through the tree. i couldn't take my eyes off it, but had to navigate around a landscape project and a sharp drop to the shoreline. it was an oval between the size of a quarter and golf ball. it moved in straight lines only. it moved at a steady speed but not fast, it seemed to glide. i estimate the height at 200-500 feet above me. there seemed to be a faint glow around the object. i was able to move around a get a clear look under the tree and straight north up the shoreline. the object seemed to be a few miles up the shoreline, moved east over the bay, and then just seemed to go out after about 10 seconds. i have never seen anything like this, and am hoping you can give me an answer, or if anyone else reported seeing it. i look out the window every couple minutes hoping to see it again, and have binoculars ready if it does reappear. my report from 2/20/19 explains why i waited to contact you. thank you, hush berry
