Having a bonfire about 7pm, some stars were out already. bright light caught my eye in the south sky. It just appeared out if no where. this was the brightest thing I've ever seen in the sky. Stayed lit up and sationary for about four seconds. Suddenly it went out and jumped to the left, then down , then to the right, lighting up every time it reapeared. Then the distance of jumps it made became further away and hard to follow. Very erratic . I tryed to time the lights when I saw them, sometimes would be just a flash, other times it would stay lit for 5-7 seconds. It moved east and west mostly but continued south when it left the area. Just a few minutes later what I assumed was jets circled the area were the craft had been. The whole incident creeped me out..
