I was sitting in the backseat of my family car, heading northbound on the frontage of US Highway 281. we had just passed the light on TX 107 when out of the corner of my eye I saw something in the sky Southeast of my position. At first I thought it was a plane but the shape and the movements where wrong. It was a cigar shaped object that appeared to be stationary. The object was very shiny and that's what really caught my attention. It was a clear day no cloud cover what so ever. I observed the object in the time it took us to get from 107 to Kuhn St. The object didn't appear to change position. There is a motel on the corner of the frontage and Kuhn street. When we turned onto Kuhn St I lost line of sight with the object because of the motel. My house is two blocks down from the motel. In the time it took us t get home the object had vanished. I got off of the car and started looking for the object, it was no where in sight.
