I am a night supervisor and usually up on my nights off. I am a smoker and do not smoke in my house. At 3:05am on the morning of November 17th, I went out my front door to have a smoke like normal. I have always been interested in stars so on a clear night like it was, I look at the stars. My house faces south. I was there for a few minutes when a light caught my eye almost straight south of me. It looked like a shooting star, but was moving in an upwards and west direction. It faded out and I didn't think much of it other than being a little strange it was going up and not down or across. Then just seconds later from where it had faded out, it appeared again and shot straight back to the east and faded out again. That really shocked me. Then it appeared again and it shot straight up and to the west and disappeared. This all took place in a matter of about 10-15 seconds. I am a skeptic, but I know what I saw was strange and would like an explanation. No technology we have could move as fast as this and falling/shooting stars do not change direction.
