Approximately one year ago I was at home with a friend talking on my back deck. My friend was sitting and I was standing. I was looking east at the sky. I interrupted the conversation when I pointed out what I thought was a satellite slowly traveling north in the sky. Then the objects speed increased very quickly and looked more like a comet. The speed again increased and the object crossed the entire skyline and was out of sight in a matter of a couple of seconds. I have never seen anything travel so fast and there was no noise at all. I was in the Air Force for a few years when I was younger, but I never have seen anything travel so fast. My friend that was with me at the time had spent time in the Army and neither of us had ever seen anything like that.
