A friend and I were sitting on the steps of our house in Winona, Minnesota. I saw a very bright light in the sky straight ahead of us in the west and then realized it was traveling right slowly. I said something to my friend who immediately agreed she saw the light, too, then she commented that there was another less bright light to the left that seemed to trail the first light. They appeared to be about an inch away from each other, both going the same speed and maintaining their distances from each other. We watched for about a minute as these lights traveled and appeared to fad . Right before they faded into nothing, we saw the second duller light shoot off in an odd, downward trajectory. It appeared to go down and right at a much faster speed than it had been traveling at. Then the lights disappeared completely. My friend and I were very taken aback and surprised at what we had see . I thought the lights were just white, but she described them as having an orange tint. About am hour later, I was sitting outside with another friend and I witnessed a fireball in the north falling quickly above the bluffs. It was very large and white, traveling very quickly. I saw it turn orange and green and become brighter before it quickly burnt out. I was the only witness to this second event. I'm not sure if these two events have correlation, but I had never seen anything like either of them. I felt somewhat uneasy after the events, but I think that's normal.
