After hitting a tumbleweed driving at 95 mph on a slimy wet asphalt road, a section of I-80 in Utah not far from the Nevada border, my car started spinning and sliding, changing direction twice, first to get out of the way of a speeding big rig, and then not to slide off the road and start rolling which would have surely been fatal not having my seat belt on. Most of the sliding happened with my car being backward. I was in shock, my hands frozen to the steering wheel, surely not having any control over the vehicle. The behavior of my car was so unreal, I could find no other explanation than a tractor-beam controlling it from above.
