On june 24, 2013, me and 3 friends where comming from El Valle de Anton, Panama. El Valle is a volcano, and is one of the few where you can live inside the crater. On our way to Panama City, Panama, we stop at a place call Las Margaritas, where you have a nice wide view of the beaches, its a nice panoramic view at 900 to 1,000 feet high. We stop there because we wanted to see the moon raising, it was around 7pm, we saw some lights coming from the northeast one following each other in a line. we where at the edge of a canyon and the lights where on the other side, the canyon is about 1 1/2 mile wide. We realized after aproximated 30 minutes that this lights were stationary and they were glowing very bright for periods, they where less than 1/2 a mile appart from each other, just one, the one must south when over the ocean an later came back and allined with the other. 3 of them gather and formed a triangle, 2 of them merge togheter... all of this for moments and then they separated again... That day falled a big rain all around the country and the sky was clear and dark... the moon was not out at the time. I know the area and its not a populated area, there was only a big cloud far behind this lights, so I knew it wasn't a star and stimated they where like 2 miles from us just a little higher that our altitude. We didn't care about the lights at first, but after 30 minutes we started to give them more attention, then was when I started filming and taking pictures. we saw this event for more than an hour, we had to continued our trip so we lefted and the lights stayed there. I also have some instruction in aviation and this was no planes, drones, balloons or star.Forgive my english... its my second lenguage. I used a Panasonic model No. DMC-TS20 (1:3.9 / 45-18 ASPH)
