Noticed a bright star-like light in sky over lake huron, viewing from bluepoint subdivision in plympton-wyoming, ontario and facing west towards (approximately) the location of lexington, mi usa. could not tell how far across the lake it was, but it seemed to be further to the usa side. watched for about 10 minutes through binoculars. with the naked eye it looked like a big star that had a red tint and seemed to be "twinkling". through binoculars i could see that it was an orb or roundish shaped light that was somewhat transparent and changed shape continually, like a blob that continually moved and shifted shape. looked sort of like a translucent jelly fish without the tentacles. around the outside was red, but not a continuous line of red, more like individual red spots, or lights. as it changed shape the red edge also changed with it and seemed to twinkle and fade in and out of sight a little bit. the movements were rapid and it did not stay in one shape but continually changed shape in a fluid manner. i watched from my deck, through binoculars, for about 10 minutes, then came inside and watched it through the window for a few more minutes. stopped to text a friend what was happening, looked back and it was gone, so i don't know how it departed.
