On the morning of 20 October 1949, I observed an oblong ufo about 50 meters to 75 meters in diameter hover over a field of napa cabbage in jeolla nam do, Muan kun, South Korea. I was a priest at the muan kun catholic mission at the time. The object was a dull grey and had a flat fan shaped tail. It made no noise and apparently harvested several plants before it departed. Several local men also saw the object. One man suffered a burn to the side of his body that faced the object. An older lady who often dug clams on the mud flats close by said she had seen a similar object over the ocean a day prior. When the object departed it rose about 100 meters and left so fast that it seemed to turn into a point of light.
