Witness Testimony

"Was walking dog when i saw lightning in a nearby cloud formation covering the moon. noticed a red light hovering to the ne of the cloud hovering approx a mile to the north east of me and silent. as i walked back home the light started to move northward away from the cloud and the lightning strikes ended. the object halted in mid air after a speed of about 35 mph. it then moved backwards for a short distance, halted and resumed its original northern course at a slower speed. i reached my door and went in to get my binoculars and when i returned, the object had stopped, hovered then started to descend quickly. i was able to focus on it before it dropped below the roofline of the house across the street. i was able to see 2 distinct round or spherical red lights at the ends and another flashing green off to the lower right. this object reappeared about 3 minutes later, ascended to about 500 ft and then rotated in place for a few seconds until it doubled its height and hovered while rotating. it was then that the lightning strikes began again. after about 3 strikes the object began to shift direction to the south parallel to the stormcloud. i went inside to grab a nv binocular and lost it when i returned 20 seconds later. my guess at its size is about 30-40 ft based on the distance.
