On tues, august 28th,at approximately 9:15 pm,i was sitting on my front porch and noticed a tiny white light, traveling low and very fast. as i was watching, it suddenly appeared, as if it just went through an invisible wall, as a very large bullet shaped object. the rear was a dull metallic color, and from the middle to the front, it appeared to be a very bright yellow/orange. the color pattern reminded me of something that had been dipped in wax, with no particular lines or pattern. the front was rounded just like a bullet and this front section was the only part that appeared to be on fire. as i was watching, it suddenly disappeared, like it went back through an invisible wall. during this entire event, i never noticed any kind of sound. as i watched it completely disappear i waited thinking i would hear a crash or see smoke, but nothing more was observed. i have observed 100's of meteors and this object did not fall from the sky, with a blaze that gradually faded. this object was traveling a very intentional east to west pattern, with a slightly noticeable decline, but not like a meteor. i had my binoculars and cell phone right beside me, but it happened to quickly to capture. i used my binoculars after it disappeared, in search of any remaining visibility. i was hopeful that i would at least see the original tiny white light that i had observed in the beginning, however, i did not observe anything after it disappeared.
